P.E.A.C.E.’s VISION is a compassionate world for all sentient beings, supported by the ethics of veganism, and modeled by sustainable farm sanctuaries.

P.E.A.C.E.’s MISSION is helping farmed animals and farm sanctuaries through resources, rescues and education.

We are collecting free and discounted resources for Canadian farm sanctuaries, from discounted lawyer fees to help sanctuaries get their charity status to free photographers and grant options for projects! These are all hosted for free on our website.

We also organize events, education classes and workshops for farm sanctuaries, the public, teachers and other non-profits. Please see our Events Calendar and Classes | Workshops for more details.

Also on our website: come find your local sanctuaries by region, resources if you would like to start a sanctuary yourself and so much more!

We started to help farm sanctuaries and farmed animals as we saw a need for an organization dedicated to helping with rescue and transport of farmed animals. We have acquired a truck to move smaller individuals directly in an enclosed canopy and also support towing trailers to transport larger individuals. We also have a dedicated P.E.A.C.E. trailer to be used by us for larger farmed animal rescue transport.

When P.E.A.C.E. was found the beginning of 2019 we worked with farm sanctuaries in British Columbia and expanded into Alberta later the same year. As of 2020 P.E.A.C.E. has expanded into Manitoba and we now work with Western Canada farm sanctuaries.

Through our network of P.E.A.C.E. volunteers we are always expanding to build connections to help as many farmed animals and farm sanctuaries as we can.

Our short term goals are to develop humane education options for schools, promote plant-based vegan school options, find alternatives to farm days and egg (chick) hatching as well as work with farm sanctuaries to offer school tours as some examples.
